Tired of snatching me out of the mud? No, I know, you're hoping to get your way with me in Sandisfield.

Last night I visited with both my X and Peter (proprietor/mechanic) of CT Axle. He is a wicked nice guy who really moves along at a very professional pace. The Diff was already back in the X and he was reinstalling axles and drive shaft while I was visiting. Since he had already (unnecessarily) removed the radiator skid, I took advantage and got him to remove the front sway bar.
Pick up is tonight! I'm going to be so glad to get her back. Driving my wife's Subi Roo sucks, no stick and I'm looking up at crossovers D'oh!
I'm getting all the original parts back, so if anyone blows their spider gears / carrier I will have a perfectly good carrier assembly, with the side bearings already mounted to it - 37,xxx miles (driven only by a little old grandfather) on it, available for beer trade.
Scott

Scott, what is the gear ratio on your X? I have a 3.69-1. For some reason I have a carrier that is specific to the manual Nismo's. The 4.1 ring and pinion from Rugged Rocks and 4x4 Parts are specifically for a 3.54 and down carrier. I emailed one or the other of them. They said I'm out of luck unless I swap mine out. Just curious

Hey John,
My X is also a manual w/ 3.69 gears. So I guess my carrier isn't as helpful as I hoped.
Best, Scott
