So I didn’t do my vent mod and now paying the price after ECXC bc I didn’t change the diff fluid right after... so I am leaking from my axel seal (pretty sure) My plan and tell me if this is good or what... Call cherry hill Nissan and talk with Brian? On parts I have 08 off-road with the elocker so I have to have the bearing pressed on? I think just have a mechanic do all that stuff? Then put it all back in at home.... does this sound right.. .
I saw videos on frontiers getting done but I’m still a little timid on doing it.
Comments concerns helpful insights please!!!

One of the seals on my Frontiers rear axle went. I had a shop do it. Pulling the axle wasn’t my worry. I saw a how to for it. Cutting off the old seal and bearing with a grinder, then using a pipe of the right diameter and a hammer to seat it all again. I wasn’t interested. I think it ended up being 4 hours labor plus parts. I bet it would be half that if you removed and installed it, and brought it to a shop for the rest.

I recommend shop press to seat the bearing back on. Grinder works great to get it off, cut it diagonally, then hammer and chisel punch.
