Be careful, the wire colors are not always consistant even within a model year. I have found several variations in every first gen model. Trace the wire before you cut.

also,i know this might sound crazy but after i took my aftermarket subs out the wire colors changed roles. i dont know what happened. it works now so i just left it. after i put everything back i would change cd's and the headlights would flas and the wipers would go off. it was really weird. works now though. haha
