Hey guys.
Just figured I'd post it here as well. Our little weekend wheeling turned into a serious half day event out east on long island.
We went from just Brandon and I (the usual crowd) to over 12 trucks, all nissan, one jeep and possibly a dodge. Pretty crazy..
There are several of UNYX members participating in this run, if there are anyone else interested please drop me an email or PM me.
Or join up with the LINXC.com board and check out the thread over there.
All of the information you'll need is there. It is roughly an hour an a half drive east from NYC. The Bridgeport Ferry from Ct. Isnt too far from it.
The ferry to Orient Point is probably an hour drive (going west) to the spot.
Can't wait to hook up with some of you UNYX guys..
L8r
Ken

Had a good time with the LINXC guys this morning. Got to use my locker a bunch and had to be pulled out of the mud and the "Long island" crack. Also recovered Josh about 6 times.

Glad you guys had a good time with us. That is our usual stomping grounds. Always fun after a good snow storm or rain.. Even better at night. The crack is downright frightening at night.
I'm glad that you guys pushed yourselves enough to get stuck. If you arent getting stuck, you arent picking hard enough lines. ;)

The crack wasnt as bad as it was previously, like we said, it's hit or miss. It wasnt too bad today. The mud was downright nasty, almost claimed my truck.

So, was it worth the trip guys? And would you do it again?

Also.. I posted on LINXC about the beach permit info, so check it out.. All info is there for you.

Thanks for coming down to wheel with us.
You guys are welcome ANYTIME!!
