Everyone,
Over the past couple of months, the officers have been discussing the club, where we've been, where we're going and what we want to accomplish.

Just about a couple of weeks ago, the supporting members had the chance nominate someone to the position of Club President and Club Treasurer - which are the two roles that were up for a vote this year.

I was paid the highest compliment possible and was nominated to the role of Club President and MtDewMike was nominated to remain in the position as Club Treasurer.

In both cases, there were no other nominations and, as a result, Mike kept his position and I was opted in to become the new Club President, which means that I'll have big shoes to fill, following in Gene's footsteps.

As part of this announcement, I'd like to also introduce you to the four new officers (which do not require being voted in) that will fill four roles that are critical to the club's success.

The four are:
XterraVT - Dave - Events Coordinator
XVTer - Bobby - Membership Coordinator
SeXterraPA - Stephen - Sponsorship Coordinator
xtremejoe04 - Joe - Club Secretary

Please join me in thanking all of these guys for stepping up and taking on a critical responsibility as this will help us to make sure that we make 2010 a very good year and, in 2011, accomplish even more than I believe we will this year.

Michael

Congrats everyone on the changes.

Stephen, let me know if you need anything for the sponsorship stuff. I've got stuff at home that you can have that I always used for the B2SR. :)

Congrats & best wishes to a really nice group of men. Everyone is always willing to help another member no matter what, i.e. problem with their rig or issue with an ill family member as in my case right now.
I can't thank all of you enough for the prayers offered for our neice Renee Yashowitz McDonald.
Renee just finished 15 days of full brain radiation & is continuing chemo for the inoperable brain cancer Stage IV Glioblastoma . We are hoping for the best. Thank you guys! Keep those prayers coming.
I am posting fund raising event info to help Renee's family deal with unpaid medical & daily living expenses. The Long Island Xterra Ken is posting an event to be held in Nov on Long Island.
Thank you Ken!
