Driving back from skiing in NH to boston I pulled over for breakfast
saw smoke from under the hood.
popped it and saw oil on the passenger side of the engine ( over the head gasket area?)
Oil started pooling on the ground about 1 cup .
not sure what it was but its not good

I left the car at a shop in NH am back in Boston now.

Thoughts of what it could be? i know it's very vague details, oil in egine near head gasket area.
It was feezing up there and i didnt have lot of tim to poke around before leaving the truck there.

dont know everythign baout the truck but know that i hope i dont have to dump a ton of money on this.
any insight is appreciated

Start simple. Could it be your valve cover. That has a rubber gasket and perhaps the screws have loosened on there. They are not torqued too much. Try tightening them down.
