Well I went to putting on the hitch off my yellow X to the blue one. I figured and easy job, slip in the frame stiffeners (two bolts per side) and bolt on the hitch, six bolts total.
No, no, no, what a frigin' PITA. First I have to remove the rear bumper to get the frame stiffeners in, ok, no biggie, then I put them in, bolt the bumer back on, and now the frame stiffener bolts don't line up. Idiot, so I take the bumper back off. Get the frame stiffeners on with minimal swearing, bolt the bumper back on; get the hitch. Damn, the hitch won't clear the bumper. I can't write what I said. Bumper back off. Put on F@#%'n hitch; holes in bumper don't line up at all. While trying to line it all up, G@*D@#*n bumper falls on frigi'n floor, pulling out the wiring and scratching the hell out of the bumper. Too early for a beer, so I swear again.
Now I place bumper back on...not s@#*, S@#!*&n, p@##s-of s#@t holes line up, bumper falls on head. !!!!!!!!!!!!
After three hours of work, it is all on.
It was easier to put on the Shrock bumper.
Why didn't it line up? Dummy? Lift! Should have thought of that. The holes are not stock. Wish I had thought of that first.
Should have gone to church, but no, I blew it off.
