My front skid plate (the "Hero") from Black Panther arrived today...a day earlier then FedEx tracking said it would.

The item arrived in good condition and packed very well in three layers of packing material.



I liked the fact that Marcel taped the directions and bolts right on top so they were easy find and not lost in the packing.





The thing looks great and very sturdy. The powdercoating also came out great.







I plan on installing it next week when I'm up at Scott's house. I need to drill out a few of the old bolts that I've managed to break doing oil changes. I'll post more pics then.

Directions on the front a big +. Jim S. likes to make it a game and hide it in the packaging.

I got my $$$ for 05 skids now I just need BP to produce them.

Yes..it took me awhile to find Jim's directions and the bolts when I got my sliders.

Went up to Scott's yesterday and we got the skid plate mounted. The skid is great and lined right up with the holes. The problem was..I had broken bolts in three of the holes.

But..Scott prevailed and we got them drilled out and the new plated mounted. I look forward to hitting it with a rock soon!

And I will be sure to order more skids from BP in the future.
