I wish I could have wheeled. My last run before this was pretty much a wash too. I was one of the guys stuck on the trail at the Winter "Shocker" run. I was actually one of two who made it off the trail by going forward. It was a long arduous, run with lot's of winching, cursing and snow driving tricks, end result very little wheeling time.
I am certain the amount of side to side steering I did at Shocker to get traction is what hastened my current issue.
The noises I heard were two fold. One was a loose sway bar mount--easy fix to tighten down the bolt. The other turned out to be the Calmini idler arm wobbling and making a clunk when it did lean in. The lean created loose play on the wheel at 3 o clock as it allowed the steering and tie rod end to push up and in. We werent sure on the trail if a wheel bearing was also bad, but I have so far ruled that out.
Im 98% certain it's just the idler arm bushing being worn out. We'll see after I replace it!
Calmini should give you a 6 ton press when you buy their steering set up, you WILL be replacing bushings like a mofo
