Trail leaders? Maybe we should all have some De-Icer spray in our trucks during a winter run!
Well I had a great time however I must learn to not booze on the Friday before a Saturday run…
The “Black Group” ran a bunch of trails without any major incident until the end of day when Justin broke through the ice into some deep swampy mud and then had the bright idea of having Igor push him out of a stuck a bit further down the trail. We breezed through “13” that is normally a killer and hit many more trails than a “Black” usually has time for in those conditions.
Keith (LizardKing), Tim (Primerhb55) and Tom (TomsRedX), thanks again for all your help. Taking a lead as you did is the reason these types of events happen.
A bunch of you ordered shirts when you signed up but did not respond to the event shirt thread
HERE. I know now why you were expecting a shirt that was not there. I don’t know how many did the same. This method is confusing, redundant, and stupid it will be altered for any event I run in the future.
I am truly sorry for the lack of event stickers at the event (USPS, snail-mail) and the event shirt screw up and although it was not my idea to do things this way I am at fault for not realizing it was going to happen.
Again, I apologize.
You can PM your mailing address to me if you still want your free event sticker. I’ll send it to you as soon as possible.
That said why not think about how you can support and become more involved with NEXTerra? Maybe we can avoid problems like event shirt and sticker screw ups with your input!
