"20" was the river/trail where you popped the beads. "16" is the "Black" we ran after "13". Sorry for your troubles getting home. I'm thinking it was a combination of the tires shifting on the wheels and water in the tires when the beads popped. I hope it's not a problem with the rims.
Yes, it was a great day! Thanks guys!
The weather was cold but not too bad. The "Black" group went straight to the "West", down "J" (very washed out and off camber at the top) to "13" that was a running river..
I ripped my muffler off on"13", I couldn't see any of the voids or most of the rocks. I knew something was wrong when the truck started sounding like a race car. Got to a relatively dry spot and completely detached the muffler from the rear most hanger it was clinging to for dear life and continued through "13" until we got to "16".
After running 16 felt/heard something wrong. Two of the four bolts holding the front driveshaft to the tc flange backed out and were gone. The other two were on their way out! Had spares and replaced all with lock washers. Kept wheeling.
Suresh blew a front driver bead on 20...in the running water.
He had to hilift in the "stream" and we popped the bead back with a power tank...in the stream, fun. Then he popped the front passenger a few yards down the same trail...in the stream. Had to ratchet strap the tire to get it to seat even when using the power tank...more fun.
Then Tom's belt broke on the same trail. He had a spare but after about an hour of wheeling his alternator was skipping sending juice to the rig. We think we damaged the connection when changing the belt.
Limped out and called it a day
Crazy day but ran some cool stuff
Thanks to all that came. Thanks Saif (King Khan) for leading the Green group. Hope everyone had fun.
