I'm getting ready to put the V8 back in the 4runner so I took some pics.
I had the crank turned, I put all new bearings
new piston rings, new valve springs and seals
new camshaft and timing chain, Ect.
Hummm Somethings missing :?:

Shiney but it won't say like that

I still have the heads off until it's on the mounts to keep it lighter to move.
Notice the solid motor mounts. I already tore a stock set apart.

Once it's back in, the heads can go back on and the cam, lifters ,timingchain, ect.

Thats it for now, more to come soon I hope.

You should get a supercharger for that 350 or maybe 4 turbo chargers with a custom made 4" exhaust. :)

Ernie,

That looks like great work and nice attention to detail. Looking forward to the progress of your truck.

Thanks Guys
I've been short either Time or Money lately so the progress has been very slow.
I hope to have it all together for late summer 2009.
After 10 years of being apart :( this is the closest it's been to being back together again :D

The Last time it was together just before disassembly in 1997. :!:
