Last night I decided to fully inspect my carbs to see if I could solve my full throttle bogging issue. Keep in mind the guy I bought the bike from was an ex-army drunk.
So my issues have been poor fuel economy and no more than half throttle acceleration.
I open up all 4 carbs and can not believe what I see.
Carb #1 has a high speed jet in the low speed position, and the other jet had fallen out and was floating around in the bowl.
Carb #2 has 2 low speed jets installed.
Carb #3 is the only one assembled correctly.
Carb #4 has 2 high speed jets and the slide won't move through its full motion.
I fixed all the carbs and took the bike for a very exciting test ride. The bike was very happy to hit red line under load, and it got up to 70 before I shifted to 3rd.
