Comfort Inn gives a discount that's less than that if you just say you're going to RC....plus they let you work on your junk in the parking lot.

(Air tools at 3 am...gott a love'm)

:D

So, anyway, I put it on my calendar.

:D

Cool Nick.

TJ, I updated the OP to include the Comfort Inn info. Thanks.

Newbie question - alert!

What's the recommended equipment level to run blues? I have a PML, 32"tires (brand new as of tonight :-)), engine/tranny, gas tank skids & tow hooks. Should have the front skid on by mid-May as well.

Have only run greens at Rausch Creek before & have been to GG & the stocker run earlier this month in MA. Thx.

Sounds to me as if you're good to go for Blues. Ken is very experienced and will be great leading you through the blue trails at Rausch.

Anyone planning on getting a cabin at KOA for Friday night?

I have to check with Kyle before I can say. He might be bringing Mike.
The cabins hold 3 comfortably and four uncomfortably (3 beds, a bunk and a twin). If Mike does not come and you and your ?room mate? don?t mind sharing the twin you?d be welcome.
You might want to reserve one pretty soon but I'll let you know ether way when I know.

Tom, Ken - count me in for the blue group. Would like an XL t-shirt too.

Suresh-DirtySocks-03'Silver X.

Got the front & transfer case skids to go with the ones I already have. No luck with slider yet. Hopefully those should be enough to keep the X safe from my stupidity.

Checked out the KOA but their website quoted about the same for a cabin as Comfort Inn was charging for their rooms. So, I'm sticking to the Comfort Inn & their free basic breakfast :-)

Tom, still not sure of my plans but do you have an idea of what black trails you're going to run?

I'd like to run boot hill again since I took a beating on it the last time but if the weather is bad it will be over my capabilities. It will be up to Kyle since he will ne leading.
Why do you ask?

Just want to know what I'm getting into if I do make it. I ran boot hill a few years ago with Mehdi, Will, and Brock. Its a tough trail.
