While you may be ok on some of the trails, winching & being dragged over rocks is a very real possibility. So is damage. On the ‘moderate’ rated tails here, I’ve had to use my lockers, some places both the front & rear, to crawl over obstacles. Go around are few.

Come check out the place (before the snow) though. There’s never a substitute yo seen it in person. A ride along is always a good idea, although those are more complicated now with COVID.

I'm bummed cause i can't make it.. I have to drive her down to Florida, so wheeling that day may not be a good idea. Hopefully we can do it again soon.

The best way to see the property without risking your rig is to ride along with someone else. I’ve run some properties shotgun to Ernie and Joe D. I’m not against having a passenger. I wear a mask all day every day at work and sanitize my hands often. So this would be no different to me. I will require the same from someone riding along with me. With that being sad Brad, I’ll leave it up to you.

The other thing is, we are getting a lot of rain between now and Saturday. Possibly over 2 inches at Brookridge. If it’s wet it will be more tricky.

Body damage is not outside of reality at Brookridge. Although I’ve had my fair share or more at places like GG. It’s a risk we all surrender to each time we run a property.

Uh, yeah. Probably not the 2 people I'd pick to see how a property is really gonna be. :D

Glad that Ernie is going. I'm going to need someone to pull me around all day.

i found that the more people you have in the truck with you, the more "courage" they tend to give you...

We have 7 rigs signed up & paid for Saturday. 5 Xterras & 2 Jeeps.

Should make for an excellent day. See you all this weekend!

Here are some pics I took. Nothing special. Jinxed myself and snapped a TPMS stem on the way out.

Thanks for all those who came out today. I had a blast & hope you did too. We had 8 rigs - 5 Xterras, 2 Jeeps & a part-Toyota buggy. There were some new dents, a couple of broken taillights & lots of scrapes, Jordan's wheel stem, a broken winch but nothing major that I know of.

Brookridge as always, did not disappoint. Thanks to Ernie for leading us the whole day, and keeping up on more of the moderate trails.

Thanks Suresh and Ernie for putting together a great time for us yesterday.

Brookridge didn’t disappoint again. I’ve got a couple new dents and scrapes. And my tailpipe that fell off is back in place, with new zip ties.

I’m looking forward to the next run!

John - I should have listened to you on Saturday & swapped the wires.

After contacting Engo this afternoon, I swapped wires & now my winch spools in but not out (opposite of what was happening at Brookridge). I guess one of the two solenoids went bad.
Waiting to hear back from Engo on replacements, so should be hopefully a straightforward fix.

Haha! I was kidding for the most part. I thought it was a long shot. It’s funny that would have worked.

Please post up if Engo comes through for you or not.
