Hi all. New xterra owner here. I traded my over-heating, misfiring, gmc jimmy in this weekend at a local dealer for an 05 xterra. nothing special about it and i prob wont be modding it at all unless its cheap to free and easily reversible thanks to the tw0 year warranty i have on the powertrain.

I've been out on the trail a few times, but since almost all of my money goes to my car (toy) my trucks generally stay stock, so hard trails arent really an option for me. I mostly go out in a small place out near downingtown, pa as its only a few min away and free (although im not sure if completely legal, i have yet to see any signs stating otherwise)

Either way, i joined this forum to meet new people who also enjoy the outdoors and wheeling.

- Zach

Ahoy, Zach, and welcome aboard! pirate

While I'm not familiar with the area you're referring to, I'd strongly suggest to not assume that a trail is legal if there is no signage stating otherwise. I'm not trying to be a Debbie downer, but we all need to treat trails with respect. I know it's hard to find legal wheeling places, but wheeling illegally can get you into a lot of trouble.

NICE VDUB! I used to have a 98 jetta vr6, spent all my money (limited as it was, I was in high school) modding that thing. Will always have a soft spot for vdubs... do you have a build page for it anywhere?

welcome to the forum
