Why not start making plans to attend now?
Start by telling your F'n boss that you are taking the time off whether he likes it or not!

I saw this on the ECXC website the other night and am planning on attending. I do have a few questions tho, should I post them here or start a new thread?

Ask them here if you like. Many ECXC veterans are here and willing to help you out.

Ok cool! First thing I was wondering is how much money should I plan on bringing with me for the whole event? I know that there is a fee for ECXC, but am not sure how much camping sites and food would total up to?

When I first started going, I set aside $400 for the week. But, in hindsight, it was probably closer to $500 because of gas and extras.

But, if you're good with a budget, you can probably do $300 - $350 for the trip, depending on how far you travel and what you spend when down there.

I spent around $500 for my trip and I drove from Florida to PA for the event... so that is probably a good number to plan for and if its less you have some extra $$

If you're not that tight on budget, the camping ground is 20$/night/person but the comfort in is doing rooms at $50. Includes AC & there's a pool.... after a full day of wheeling, a hot shower is pretty awesome!
+ if ever you break something, there's a spot under the roof of the hotel with lights where you'd have more hands than required to help you fix it!
my 2cents
so $150 for lodging
Gas .... ?!?!? depends on where you're from
Food... depends if you bring your meals & also if you eat McDs or Filet mignon ... (3 days of food/restaurant)
Trail pass at Rausch was 20$/day + 25$ one time fee for inscription
ECXC event fee was 25$ last year (included your saturday night dinner & open bar)

Thanks everyone who responded so far! I will plan on saving a little more than what I may need while down there just in case I break something. What do most of you do for lodging?

Twin Grove isnthe camp ground where ECXC was centered last year. It will most likely be there again this yeThey it has a large camp area and a few cabins I stay in a cabin.
Most folks who are not staying at the camp ground stay at the Comfert as Nick does.

I can't wait, ECXC 2k10 was my first big wheeling event and I had a blast, definitely took advantage of the hotel's awning and helpful hands having to tear out my interior and use Nick's little shop vac after dumping into Frog Hole =P
