Wow that does suck about the damage to baf6's winch. :( From what I had heard, the winch had already been spooled out by himself before the trophy was awarded. But by the time I was heading to bed he was well on his way to his 2K9 Wendy status. The punch is what I believe did him in. Well that and the fall into the stream behind the bar.

Sorry to hear about the damage to the X. If you have troubles finding someone to rebuild it, I have some friends up in portland maine that rebuilt my warn, I am sure this is something they would be able to do.

I'm the culprit of this one. I already talked to Brian about it and its taken care of. When turning it to free spool the lever broke off with little to no force. Brian?s my buddy so it was not damaged on purpose. He did puke on my feet tho.

the punch was comprised of:
5 types of rum
some vodka
grain alcohol
Hi-C

And you weren't a pain in the ass at all, McLovin.

(you didn't think I'd forget that, did you?)

DAMN! I guess I left way too early! So is that the indication that one reached Wendy status? By waking up to a toilet paper blobed X?

And Mike, that punch was GOOD bro. You couldn't taste how strong it was. We should call that mix "The Wendy Maker". LOL

I also want to say that it was great finally meeting everyone. I apologize if I missed saying goodbye to anyone. It was dark and everyone dispersed after that dude came over to tell us to shut the hell up. I will forever remember my first ECXC as the night of "oh really?!?!?!?!".

Wasn't there also a can of beer in that Sven?

Mike announced on Saturday night that, and I think this is what his exact words were, "another group of people would be taking the event over next year". However, he would not say who, and said he would announce publicly within the next couple of weeks.

On another note, I had a great time. This was my first time going there. And, yes Gene, I can hear you saying right now, "See? I told you that you'd have a good time." ;)

It was great meeting everyone, and now I can put a face with the screen names. I hope to see you all again soon at another run/event.

It was a great event and Saturday night seemed to come together perfectly between the setup of the slideshow, the lubrication options available and activities to partake in.

And, I like calling that punch the 'Wendy Maker'. I think it might have done in a number of people..

Right... one bottle of beer as well, just to smooth it out.
