Hey guys I just did a 2" body lift on my 2nd Gen frontier All went pretty well although it was a struggle to deal with sized bolts
Before lifting, I loosened the upper and lower steering shafts bolts. They didn't move though Even when I tapped them with a hammer and crowbar. The steering was way stiff, so I loosened the steering bolt in the cab and turned wheel 6x both ways then retightened. It's better now, but it's still stiff to the left, clunks when turning over driveways
Any ideas? I ordered the extension, but if I can fix it cheaper then I'd be happy

Who did you get the kit through? And where did you order an extension from?
I got my kit through Brian at Cherry Hill, but we didn't have any issues with the steering.

You know who might be able to throw in some ideas is Ernie; he did a body lift for a second gen Fronty a couple of years ago down in RI.
Ernie, do you remember any issues with the steering?

No we had no concerns , but It does need to slip out some... around 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch but the shaft should slip enough for the lift. did you pb the slip shaft?
