Post subject:  Custom bumper builds **Update 3/25**

Hey guys my buddy and are starting an on the side custom fabrication off-road shop. Our company name is Barn Off-Road. Our first products are rear bumpers for both generations of the Xterra.

The main bumper structure is made out of 3/16" steel. The mounting points will be in the stock location. The swing arm is being made out of 2"x2"x1/4" square tubing. The swing arm hinge is 2"OD x .250 wall DOM tubing with bronze bushing inserts held together by a 1" bolt for ultimate reliability and smoothness. All brackets are also made out of 3/16" steel to maintain strength while keeping weight down. Our bumper comes with hi-lift and jerry can mounts stock which are both mounted behind the tire. Our jerry can mount is integrated on the swing arm brace which cuts all vibrations on the swing arm in the harshest of conditions. Tire location is up to your discretion, we will mount it off set or in the center. Price is $700 local pick-up painted with a rustoleum bedliner finish (if requested) and installation. These bumpers are also available for custom alterations and with our manufacturing process wait time will be two weeks maximum.

Here is our build for the generation one Xterra. Our generation two pictures will be up soon as the swing arm is completed.

Gen 2 bumper is finally done. A lot of delays because of time, school, and life.

No license plate bracket pictured. Making a custom one with back up camera.

Swing arm designs are completely up to the customer. I wanted the tire where it is. No jerry can mount because I didn't want one and I have the hi-lift on the GOBI.

IMO, that will probably be the best place for it so you don't have to obstruct it or interfere with access to the ladder.

Also, since it seems like you guys are making your own hinges, I might hit you up for a custom set at some point soon (I'm a lazy %#^$ when it comes to fabbing my own stuff...).
