i accidentally purchased a spare M205 as i ended up mis-diagnosing my first M205 as bad. I ordered another from Ebay and waited past the return window. This was pulled from a 2010 armada with 140,000 miles. according the listing, the seller pulled the diff cover and inspected the internals which i'd believe because the cover has fresh rtv.

This is the most desirable of the M205s as it is a later build 3 rib unit and factory 3.36 gearing from a tow package truck. there seems to be no evidence of the pinion seal or stud shaft seals were leaking.
