Well, Charles and I worked from 10am til 3pm and got the body onto the Big 4Runner today. The donor body Getting the new frame lined up getting the body set and moving the bobcat escavator around for the lift. The first lift for the rear Lift done and custom stand installed to hold up the rear The front lift , I left the escavator on the front so I could get the body over the engine. starting to pull out the old frame you can see the height difference in the two runners Old frame is out New frame under the body getting all the body mounts in A few shots of it together and finishing the front mounts Charles trying out the drivers seat Height check I can't wait to see it with the Big tires on Finished for now shot from back Shot of the front Here is a Old shot of the Bare frame with the Big tires on it Once this blows over I'll get a couple new Pics. with the tires on. Man Ernie, that is great! I like the idea of using the mini excavator to lift the body. Cleaver, easy idea. Is that kid standing next to your truck the little boy that was with you on Old Florida road when you rolled? If so, he has gotten big! |

Yeah, I was pretty Happy to get it together and remember how tall it is. Right now It kinda looks like the Digger does with it's small tires on. |

Ernie, the 4Runner pulling the old frame out from the donor truck - that's not your regular one, is it? Is it the thrid one you have? I ask because the tires are different. And I think I remember you saying you had three of them. |

Yeah Mike, thats the regular one, my daily driver. Those are my street tires and rims, Kelly AWR 35s and 058 Eagle Alloys. A little Bling to take the eyes away from all the rust and dents Now after this switch I only have the Two left and a load of spare parts. |

Not Really But the locals are pretty cool and they Know me So I might be able to take it to work, It's less than a mile from my house. There are farm tractors on our roads here all the time so they are used to seeing big things on the road. But any where else I'll be trailering it. Actually my daily driver is over the legal limit for R.I., Crazy ass Laws. |
