<Unlocking thread & moving it under Regional Events>

Mike - great idea. You should probably look at the guidelines from the Wounded Warrior Project on fund raising for them if you haven't already. They have a pretty strict set of guidelines to be followed - for eg. the event name cannot say Wounded Warrior etc.. It will also have to be registered & approved by them.

Planning & organizing an official club run creates logistical issues that will take time to resolve/setup. You'll be better off by setting up the run yourself (which was probably the idea in the first place). You can use this Regional Events section to promote it to our members & other.

If you do that, except for GG (that scheduled via the NEA for official club runs), any of the other locations would work. Rausch Creek is a great option.

Over four years by now!

Freetown/Copicut is still an option. Depending on what's open you can get a decent day out of it.

Alright,

All good to know. I'll work out some logistics and post back up. Hopefully we'll get a good turnout.

We are in for basically anywhere! My grandfather and I are supporters of the WWP and always will be. Just have to get a decal for the Muddy Chipmunk!

Here's the latest thus far:

This event will be called the Freedom Ride 2016.
There will be a 25 dollar minimum CHECK only donation made out to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Freetown will be the location , don't know what the protocol is for going there...legality, entrance fees...

As foe a date, plan on February. No set day yet, but most likely a Sunday.

-Mike

Only thing / protocol for going there is to stay only on the roads and only the side roads the gates may be open on.
They are town roads and state land, so registered and insured vehicles only.
