All,

I just wanted to give those of you a heads up who have installed the Deaver AAL mini-pack on the 05+ trucks. My packs are about 2.5 years old and were originally purchased from PRG. I installed them as-is and have had great luck with them until now. I just picked up the X from the dealer and they mentioned that there is a right rear spring that has snapped. They were going to replace it under warranty but realized that they are different-looking than stock. This is what my right spring looks like now:

I called up Greg at PRG and he is going to give me a smokin' deal on a new pair of them. He recommends that I hit them with a coat of paint to combat the salt. The springs come with a light primer, but, once I get the new ones, they'll all be getting torn apart and hit with some POR-15 or some chassis-black.

Takeaway: If you've got the mini-pack installed, hit them with some paint.

That sucks man. My stock packs did that. I'm surprised they went that fast though..

hummmm!!! that sucks!
Have you considered just getting the broken leaf replaced? I'm sure it would be cheaper!

should have a look since your PRG pack is not that old!

Food for thoughts!
